Recap of The Guitar Show 2024
Held over the weekend of March 2nd & 3rd, once again, The Guitar Show brought together enthusiasts, musicians and industry professionals under one roof, creating a great atmosphere buzzing with excitement and creativity.
From the moment the doors opened, visitors stopping by our booth were greeted by a stunning array of instruments ranging from Nylon String Guitars, Acoustic Bass Guitars, Resonators, Ukuleles, Percussion instruments including our stunning selection of Kalimbas alongside our celebratory 30th Anniversary limited edition pieces.
Our exhibition wasn't just about showcasing our instruments; it was about providing an immersive experience for all who attended. Guests had the opportunity to test-drive our instruments and chat with our family of artists on hand to answer any questions or demo any of our products.
A highlight for us at this years guitar show was the first UK show appearance of one of our latest innovations: TourPlayer! Combining the traditional craftmanship with modern technology these guitars represent the pinnacle of our dedication to pushing the boundaries of what's possible in instrument design. The enthusiastic response from attendees reaffirmed our belief that innovation is the key to staying ahead in an ever-evolving industry.
Another stand out series for us was our Resonator Guitars, these were definitely a fan favourite and there wasn't a single moment over the whole weekend where there wasn't someone trying one out and putting it through it's paces! A Big shoutout goes to our Ortega Guitars artist, Daniel Kemish for hanging out on the booth talking through all the tips and tricks of playing these great instruments, not forgetting to mention his incredible, engaging live performance set over on the Live Stage. The confirmation of our work came when the legend that is Gordon Giltrap, MBE and writer of the huge hit 'Heartsong' came by the booth and spent some quality time with our RRG40CE-DBK resonator.
The opportunity to connect with fellow guitar enthusiasts is always a highlight at The Guitar Show where we can share the love for our instruments and foster meaningful conversations and lasting connections. The gathering of our beloved family of artists over the weekend was something special, not only for us as a brand, but for all to see that it is not just about the instruments we make and the instruments that they play, but for the close relationships we have and pass on through the art of music. Tim and Jake from Dead Man's Uke, Craig Gallagher, Billy Watman thank you for hanging out and chatting to everyone and sharing your stories.
As the curtains close on another successful Guitar Show, we leave filled with gratitude for the opportunity to connect and share our passion for the craft with everyone who took their time to visit us. As we pack up our gear, we do so with a renewed sense of purpose and excitement for the future! A big thank you to Jason Hunt and his team for putting on this great event.
Until next time, keep on strumming, keep rocking and keep the music alive!
See you at The Guitar Show 2025!
