Biography
Juha Väänänen is a multi-instrumentalist, writer, producer, veteran of the European ukulele scene, and a founding member of the Finnish ukulele band sensation, UkEt. He is also an established ukulele instructor and has played a major role in bringing the ukulele to classrooms in Finnish schools.
Over the past ten years, UkEt has performed at numerous international festivals and on TV shows, released two albums, and has composed, arranged, and performed music to accompany several historic silent movies, in cooperation with the Finnish National Audiovisual Institute.
